On May 14, 2018, novelist Michael Chabon received an honorary doctorate and gave an address at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion commencement ceremonies in Los Angeles.  Rabbi Jeffrey Kamins will pick his commencement address apart, guaranteeing a lively conversation about our integrity as a people and our connection with the land.
