f a series title is preceded by the genre true-crime or murder-mystery, it’s likely that audiences are going to be intrigued. Where it was the case that action blockbusters used to dominate the streaming services, it now seems that we’re a culture fixated on the very worst of humanity. What that says about the nature of the world we’re living in, that’s something else to unpack on its own, but you can’t deny that producers certainly aren’t limited on material to choose from.
