Israel’s COVID infections surge as government rolls out booster shots

Israel was one of the first countries in the world to roll out a vaccine program and the first to offer a third booster shot to adults aged over 60.

But Israel is now struggling with its biggest COVID-19 spike since February amid government warnings the country is at a “critical point”.
