After months of anticipation, Eurovision 2019 has officially kicked off in Tel Aviv, with a parade of performers on the orange carpet, including Australia’s Kate-Miller Heidke.
But behind the scenes, Israeli authorities are mounting a massive security blitz to try to ensure that the international event is not marred by violence.
