Lana and Luke Oxnam will be celebrating December 24 with both mistletoe and a menorah.
Lana, 29, grew up Jewish but that hasn’t stopped her from loving everything about Christmas.
And this year, the first night of Hanukkah falls on Christmas eve, which hasn’t happened in nearly four decades.
Lana and her husband Luke, 30, have been married since April and this will be their first year going from Christmas lunch with Luke’s parents to Hanukkah dinner with hers.
“It’s the first time our parents have had to share us,” she said.
“Luke bought us a tree when we moved out together, which was exciting because I’ve never had one before. It’s definitely been important for us to celebrate both.”
