Those who despise Jon Faine’s appalling treatment of sensitive Jewish issues will be celebrating the fact that this pseudo Jew will be leaving his position at the ABC next month.
In this conversation one is subjected to a rather shallow treatment of the subject of anti-semitism by way of an interview with Deborah Lipstadt who has written a new book ‘Antisemitism: Here and Now”.
We hear Faine remark that anti-semitism is the flip-side of the islamophobia card which is patently false. Brendan O’Neill has so aptly expressed in a piece he wrote titled ‘No, Islamophobia is not the new anti-Semitism‘ that it is historically illiterate to compare criticism of Islam with hatred of Jews.
To top things though the co-host of this segment was Bryan Dawe who is a staunch supporter of the Palestinian cause. Dawe was the master of ceremonies at the 2018 APAN Jerusalem Peace Peace award ceremony last year.
Lipstadt, no doubt unaware of Dawe’s dirty credentials as a supporter of BDS, lets him off too lightly.
